- Talk to Ylanga in front of Port Galeb.
- Find and fight Sir Vanthas.
- (Optional) Get surprised by attack in the battelfield of bones by ghost and summoned undead archers to get more information about the past and Sword of the Betrayed that will help you in fight with Sir Vanthas.
- (Optional) Get surprised by attack in one of the ruined houses to get more information about the past and magical horn Echo of Desolation that will help you in fight with Sir Vanthas.
- Find Sir Vanthas near south part of Dead Valley and fight and defeat him and his minions.
- Report the result to Ylanga.
