Shields increase their Avoidance bonus by 30%, rounding up. This bonus is cumulative with Shield Expertise, granting a total 150% Avoidance bonus (a shield normally granting +10 Avoidance would grant +15 instead). The Bulk value of any shields is reduced by 1, also cumulative with Shield Expertise, allowing you to wield shields that your Armor Training normally wouldn't allow.
