There are several prominent groups and cities struggling for influence and power in Archaelund. Some work together, others pursue opposing interests, forcing the player to pick a side. You can gain (or lose) reputation with these so-called factions by completing quests in a specific way. In turn, some quests or dialogue options require a certain faction reputation to be unlocked.
