A charmer is a master in Mentalism. They might not wield very lethal spells, but their ability to neutralize enemies when the party is outnumbered can be invaluable.

Not every mage is a scholar interested in unveiling the mysteries of the magical ethereum. Some just prefer to make a comfortable living off their ability to confound minds and trick common people, which often has them on the road.
