Quest steps
- Speak to Chancellor Bastid after your party has dealt with "all that you can carry" problem to initiate the quest.
- Optional:
- Meet Halrick under the Emerrand Fortress to understand motivation of some of the mercenaries, to be able to peacefully enter insides of fortress and to be able to recruit him(?).
- Talk to Trader Geeri in front yard of the fortress to further understand (Charisma (2)) what is going on inside.
- Peacefully enter or fight your way to the insides the fortress.
- For peaceful entry you need to know password.
- If you choose the violent way in, you will have to kill all the mercenaries in the front yard and loose the chance to bump reputation with Iron Brotherhood. You may launch a surprise attack when passing Deception (5) check.
- Find the Halrick to understand how to get to Captain Brem chambers.
- Fight Illure and then with the help of Halrick also the Captain Brem.
- Don't forget to search for the entry to secret Brem's chambers with magical loot.
- Report to Chancellor Bastid.
- Push for share of unpaid wages.
- Push for just conditions of mercenaries (available only after peaceful entry).
